We've all been reading and watching the devastation of the earthquake and the after effects in Haiti and to the Haitian people. Fortunately, most of us have been spared the direct effects of the tragedy. For Powderhorn neighborhood resident Jeanine Estime, the horror is very personal since she is from Haiti, and still has family that resides in the country.
Recently I sat down with Jeanine for an interview. My words can't do justice to the situation of which she and her family find themselves a part of. Many in the Twin Cities are raising money to help those in Haiti, even kids are getting involved. One group from the High School for Recording Arts made a video for the Haitian people to help raise money for the effort. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMbDYNDC3sA
